Dyvona Moore

Dyvona, born June 15, 1969, in French Camp, California moved to Sacramento, California in 1970.  At an early age she felt a strong desire to follow Christ. She began singing at the tender age of seven and at nine accepted Christ into her life and joined the Jr. Choir at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Currently, Mrs Moore attends The Light Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor O.J and First Lady DeLesa Swanigan where she serves as the Praise and Worship Leader and has been given the position to oversee the marriage ministry along side her husband Bernard Moore.

 

         Ministering through music is just one of many gifts Dyvona encompasses.  She is a song writer, teacher, mentor, exhorter, and a prayer warrior who has dedicated her life to spreading the Gospel. She recently recorded a song that she wrote called “Unstoppable” that got the attention of Fred Hammond in which he collaborated with her on the remix. In addition to her spiritual gifts she has been a Choir President, Choir Director, and Bible Study Teacher. She is currently a certified life coach and a certified couples/relationship consultant. Dyvona has a heart for inspiring other women to discover their purpose and gifts in the Body of Christ as well.  In 2010, she founded True Sister’s Ministries (TSM). TSM’s mission is to embrace, love, minister to, and uplift women and to teach them how to live out biblical principles according to the word of God in Titus 2:3-5. Dyvona was gifted with many talents and she enjoys creating. Her creativity  led her to starting her own business called “Divine Designs By Dyvona” where she designs special pieces for special occasions. Her humble spirit and sweet nature not only makes Dyvona divine but a rare treasure to all who know her. 

 

         Dyvona’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5, 6 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (NIV)  This scripture inspires her because through her life’s     experiences she has learned to do just that…”trust in the Lord”.   Her ears are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and she trusts what the Holy Spirit speaks.  In trusting, God is acknowledged as being God. “As the Holy Spirit leads and I am obedient to Him, success follows”. 

 

         Dyvona continues to be on fire and eager to go to the next level in Christ Jesus. Amen!!
